At Kukirin Canada, we stand behind the quality of our products and want every customer to feel confident in their purchase. Electric scooters are high-value performance vehicles, and our return policy is designed to ensure fairness for both our customers and our business.

14-Day Return Window

Returns may be requested within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return, the scooter must:

  • Be unused and in like-new condition
  • Show no signs of riding, wear, cosmetic damage, or modification
  • Be returned in original packaging
  • Include all original accessories, charger, tools, manuals, and protective materials

Returned scooters must remain in resellable condition. Units showing outdoor use, scratches, tire wear, dirt, damage, or tampering will not qualify for standard returns.

Condition Requirements

Electric scooters are not trial-use products.

A return may be declined if the scooter has been:

  • Used beyond light indoor testing
  • Ridden outdoors
  • Involved in a fall or impact
  • Modified beyond standard assembly

Return Shipping & Restocking Fees

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived defective or incorrect.
  • A 15–20% restocking fee applies to inspection, testing, repackaging, payment processing, and inventory handling.
  • Original outbound shipping fees are non-refundable.

If the scooter requires refurbishment or cannot be resold as new, additional deductions may apply.

Due to regulated lithium-ion battery shipping requirements, freight costs are significant. Customers must ensure proper packaging for safe return transport.

Damaged or Defective on Arrival

If your scooter arrives damaged or with a verified manufacturing defect, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery and provide:

  • Order number
  • Clear photos and/or video evidence
  • Description of the issue

Failure to report transit damage within 7 days may limit carrier claim eligibility.

Once confirmed, we will determine an appropriate resolution, including parts replacement, repair guidance, exchange, or replacement.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders cancelled before shipment receive a full refund.
  • Orders cancelled after shipment are subject to return shipping and restocking fees.
  • Refused deliveries are treated as returns and subject to applicable fees.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing typically takes 5–10 business days
  • Restocking and shipping deductions apply prior to refund issuance

Final refund timing depends on your payment provider or financial institution.

Warranty Coverage

After the 14-day return period, scooters are covered under manufacturer warranty for eligible mechanical or electrical defects under normal use.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage
  • Tire wear
  • Water damage
  • Improper assembly
  • Negligence or misuse
