Warranty Policy
Kukirin Canada stands behind the quality and performance of every Kukirin electric scooter sold through kukirin.ca and authorized Canadian dealers.
1. Warranty Eligibility
This Limited Warranty applies exclusively to products:
- Purchased directly through kukirin.ca
- Purchased from authorized Kukirin dealers listed on our website
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, online marketplaces, auction sites, private sellers, or overseas distributors are not eligible for warranty coverage.
Warranty coverage is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
2. Warranty Coverage & Duration
Kukirin Canada warrants that your electric scooter and its original components will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for twelve (12) months from the original purchase date.
What Qualifies as a Manufacturing Defect
- Internal electrical failure not caused by external damage
- Battery malfunction unrelated to misuse
- Motor failure under normal riding conditions
- Structural frame failure not caused by impact
- Controller or display malfunction due to internal defect
Gradual battery capacity reduction due to normal usage is considered wear and tear and is not covered.
3. Warranty Claim Process
Step 1 – Contact Support
Email support@kukirin.ca and provide:
- Order number or proof of purchase
- Scooter model and serial number
- Description of the issue
- Clear photos or videos
Step 2 – Remote Diagnosis
Whenever possible, our technical team will attempt to resolve issues remotely and may ship replacement parts directly to you.
Step 3 – RMA (If Required)
If inspection is necessary, an RMA will be issued with return instructions. Evaluations typically take 5–10 business days after receipt.
4. What Is Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear (tires, brake pads, cosmetic damage)
- Damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, or neglect
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Commercial or rental use
- Products purchased from unauthorized sellers
5. Repair or Replacement
If a defect is confirmed, Kukirin Canada will repair or replace the defective component with genuine parts. Replacement parts may be new or refurbished.
6. Limitation of Liability
Liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective components. Kukirin Canada is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Consumer Rights
This Limited Warranty provides specific legal rights. You may also have additional rights under applicable provincial consumer protection laws.
